1U’s major fundraiser — The Hearts and Hands Auction — is coming soon after the holidays, and we really need to know what item, service, and/or special event you can donate. The items could be those special gifts you got for Christmas but will never use, or you could offer a themed dinner at your house for a small group of people. Perhaps you have a special talent that others would pay to have taught to them or done for them? Not only do these donations benefit our church with money raised, they also offer fellowship and connections among members and friends.

The February 4 event, which runs from 5:30 to 9:30pm, will feature delicious heavy hors d’oeuvres (including a mashed potato bar!), and there will be silent AND live auctions — as well as live entertainment while we eat dessert and pay for our purchases. Tickets will be on sale the last four Sundays in January for $20 each; $25 at the door.
