Title: Changing the Way We Give

During the holiday season, we are encouraged to give. But what seems like a simple, heartfelt gesture often becomes complicated and stressful. Who do we give to? What do we give? How much do we give? Are we giving with unspoken strings attached? And do we have motivations for giving that take us into parts of ourselves that we don’t like to look at? Today we will consider these questions of the shadowy side of giving.
